Jennifer N. Perron-Micek


Operating Partner of Pfingsten Partners, and Board Director

Jennifer is a Principal and Operating Partner at Pfingsten Partners, where her operating activities include investment selection, due diligence, company strategy, integration of add-on acquisitions, global sourcing, outsourced services management, continuous improvement, and portfolio company management.

She was previously the VP of Growth and Innovation for Marmon Retail Solutions (a Berkshire Hathaway company) working with their portfolio of businesses to drive new growth through marketing, product innovation, partnerships, and acquisitions. She first joined Marmon in late 2016 as Group President – Marmon Retail Store Equipment.

Prior to joining Marmon, Jennifer spent 20 years in the wireless technology industry. Jennifer began her career at Motorola in their finance rotational program having the opportunity to work abroad in China and later moved into business development and product management roles most notably launching Motorola’s first smartphone.  She shifted to the retail side of wireless, joining US Cellular, a wireless service provider and retailer, where she was responsible for all products and services on a customer bill and started their first product, innovation, and corporate venture teams.

The common thread has been Jennifer’s ability to navigate industries going through major disruption and translate marketplace challenges and customers’ unmet needs into winning strategies emphasizing customer-focused execution and working collaboratively with teams; her motto is none of us is as smart as all of us.

Jennifer holds an MBA in Marketing, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Finance and International Studies from Miami University and is a CPA.  She is actively involved in Girls on the Run Chicago serving on their Board Governance Committee, a mentor at mHUB, and a guest lecturer at Notre Dame University and Kellogg in the areas of Marketing and Innovation.

Jennifer and her husband have three children and work hard to instill the importance of giving back and making a difference in the community.  In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, run, and do yoga and Pilates.
